Jordan is a member of the government affairs and communications teams at Capital Results. Using his skills in analytical writing, research and strategic thinking. He came to Capital Results after working in public policy and government relations for the Commonwealth of Virginia, where he developed a strong understanding of the legislative process and policy development.

Prior to joining Capital Results, Jordan was an Energy Policy Analyst with the Virginia Department of Energy (Virginia Energy). His experience in state government began when he was a Fellow with the inaugural Virginia Management Fellows (VMF) program, a state-level analogue of the federal Presidential Management Fellows program. During his time with VMF, Jordan rotated through three full-time assignments with the Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS), the State Corporation Commission (SCC) and Virginia Energy. Jordan’s time with the SCC and Virginia Energy strengthened his knowledge of both the regulatory and policy side of the energy industry, which affords him a unique advantage when assisting clients involved in this sector.

Prior to his experience in state government, Jordan worked as a federal contractor for the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) in Washington, D.C. Also, while living in D.C., he wrote about climate change and energy security policy for the American Security Project (ASP). Jordan grew up in Southside Virginia, near Lake Gaston in Brunswick County. In his spare time, he enjoys playing his guitar and exploring Richmond with his wife and their dog, Dollie.
