Cole is part of Capital Results government and regulatory affairs team. Drawing from his broad based-background, Cole leverages his legal acumen to assist clients in identifying legislative and regulatory burdens, developing strategic plans and policies to overcome those burdens, and supporting internal implementation of those plans. He primarily works with clients in the healthcare, energy, and technology sectors.

Prior to joining Capital Results, Cole worked for a small law firm in Richmond, practicing residential and commercial real estate. He spent his summers during law school working as an associate at a litigation firm in Roanoke, Virginia and clerking for the Honorable Stephen R. McCullough at the Supreme Court of Virginia. In his final semester of law school at the University of Richmond, Cole interned as a risk assessor and in-house counsel for a large bank, assessing new legislation for internal compliance, analyzing third-party data policies to ensure contractual and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulatory compliance, and creating internal stakeholder controls to minimize cybersecurity risk. Prior to law school, Cole did brief stints as a legislative aide in Maryland’s House of Delegates and as a paralegal at a small law firm in Maryland.

In his free time, Cole enjoys playing soccer, playing video games with friends, and wrestling with his 140lb Newfypoo.
