Lauren assists clients on a variety of projects related to public communications, grassroots advocacy, research and analysis. As a native Virginian and former D.C. consultant, Lauren is knowledgeable of the policymaking process on both the state and federal level. At Capital Results, she primarily works with clients in the healthcare, education, energy and technology industries.

Prior to joining Capital Results, Lauren worked as a consultant in Washington, D.C. and represented clients within the emerging technology space to federal policymakers and regulators. She also contributed to public policy research and analysis for several Fortune 500 companies. From this work, Lauren developed a strong knowledge of issues related to consumer data privacy, competition, unmanned aerial vehicles, autonomous technologies, and U.S. immigration. She enjoys tackling complex projects and finding creative solutions to achieve positive outcomes for clients.

Lauren graduated with honors from the University of Virginia after majoring in American government with a minor in religious studies. During her time as a student, she served as a Research Assistant to Dr. Larry Sabato and interned at the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics. Lauren also served as a Governor’s Fellow for former Governor McAuliffe and has interned for both Senators Warner and Kaine in their D.C. offices.

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys immersing herself in fantasy adventure novels and expanding her culinary skills.
